A Queens man who believed he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to an undercover officer in Rockland County, prosecutors announced.
Dominic Vitale, 44, also known as “Tatt2Dom,” was arraigned on Friday, May 30, in Rockland County Court on charges stemming from a child exploitation investigation conducted by the District Attorney’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, according to Rockland District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II.

Police say a 19-year-old man, who was out on bail, is responsible for the mass shooting at a Waterbury mall on Tuesday, May 27, that sent five people to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Tajuan Washington, of Waterbury, is charged with five counts of first-degree assault, risk of injury to a child, criminal use of a weapon, illegal discharge of a firearm, reckless endangerment in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit, and illegal possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, Waterury police said.
