Man Sentenced For Armed Barbershop Robbery In Front Of Children In Westchester A 31-year-old man is going to spend a decade behind bars after terrorizing a Westchester barbershop during an armed robbery in front of two children. Mount Vernon resident Ronald Jones has been sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty to robbing a city barbershop while armed with a gun in October last year. He was also sentenced for a DWI dating back to last September in an unrelated case. Montgomery resident Mary Thompson was sentenced in Orange County Court to six years in state prison and post-release supervision after being found guilty of having twice engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sex with the child.
