Man Wanted For Causing Disturbance At Greenwich Party Turns Himself In, Police Say
A man who failed to appear in court on charges of causing a disturbance at a Greenwich party in 2017, turned himself in to police.
Darius Juwell Hamlette, 21, of Norwalk, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Wednesday, July 17, and was arrested for failure to appear, said the Greenwich Police Department.
Hamlette is accused of allegedly threatening numerous people during a house party on Hickory Drive in Greenwich on Oct. 7, 2017, police said.
He was originally charged with threatening, breach of peace and possession of marijuana.

Randy Torres, 25, of Bridgeport, was arrested at the Motel 6 in Milford around 11:15 a.m., Monday, July 8, by members of the Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau's General Investigations Unit, Fugitive Task Force, Robbery/Burglary Unit, as well as the United States Marshals Service and Connecticut State Parole, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

A New York man was arrested after he allegedly choked and threatened to shoot another man he had spent the night with at a Norwalk hotel.

A Norwalk teenager who allegedly threatened to shoot a gas station manager after being asked to stop smoking near a gas pump was nabbed by Norwalk police,
The incident started around 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, when Dandre Bullock, 18, was seen smoking near a gas pump at the Global Gas Station, 224 Connective Ave., said Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
