21 Dogs In 'Various Stages Of Neglect' Removed From Manorhaven Building: Cops
Twenty-one dogs were removed from a Long Island boarding business after police found the animals in various stages of neglect, authorities said. Officers responded to 144 Shore Road in Manorhaven at 10:44 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, after receiving a report of sick animals, Nassau County Police said. The commercial property was being used as a business for boarding dogs. Once officers gained access to the building, they found 21 dogs in various stages of neglect, according to detectives. A 39-year-old Garfield man was shot multiple times along Route 21 in Passaic early Saturday morning, Sept. 5, authorities said. Passaic police responded to Route 21 northbound near milepost 10.9 at approximately 3:41 a.m. on a report of a shooting, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A.
