A person was killed in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Raritan Borough Monday, July 27. At 6:30 a.m., a Genesis SUV entered the First Avenue intersection and struck the driver's side of an Acura SUV Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Meredith McKay, and Raritan Borough Chief of Police Thomas Fisher said. Police ID Woman Believed To Have Drowned In East Haddam
Authorities have identified a 68-year-old woman who drowned at a Connecticut home earlier this week. Mary Tracy Shepley was found at a home on Triangle Drive in East Haddam around 9:30 p.m on Wednesday, July 15, Connecticut State Police said. Initial reports said her family found her in the nearby Moodus Reservoir after the family dog returned home alone and wet.
