A high-speed police chase that spanned several Connecticut towns on Sunday, Dec. 29, ended with two people in custody, Connecticut State Police said.
The incident began when Newington police responded to an armed robbery at Lowe's on the Berlin Turnpike just after 8:20 a.m., according to Newington police. The suspects, later identified as Scott A. Tenney, 35, of East Hartford, and Samantha K. Tobey, 34, of Enfield, fled in a black Honda CR-V, police said.

A drunk woman caused a disturbance at a Berks County restaurant as she jumped barefoot onto a table while evading police, according to authorities.
Alexa Peters, 29, of Honey Brook, was charged after she refused commands to stop from police during a disturbance in Morgantown on Sunday, Oct. 6, the Caernarvon Township Police Department said.
Police were initially called to Lowes, located at 340 Crossings Boulevard, for a woman causing a disturbance in the area, according to police. Peters was reported to have stolen a drink, threw her jacket in an employee's face, and cursed at people.

Bill Salisbury was just a kid when he began working at Dumont Hardware.
His father, Harry, opened the store in 1946, and when he turned 12 , Salisbury would come in on weekends to help clean the place.

A Long Island man who police say has been arrested 46 times has been charged with 10 new larcenies across the region.
Emmitt Smith, age 43, of Bellport, was charged on Wednesday, April 24, with the larcenies that occurred across Nassau County, according to Nassau County Police.
