Both she and her companion were arrested and charged after he threw something at the car, damaging it, authorities said. Lyft Offering Deal On Rides To Shore From Jersey City, Hoboken, Newark Ride-share company Lyft is offering special deals for transportation to selected Jersey Shore locations from three North Jersey cities beginning this weekend, the company said. Lyft Beach Pass will offer rides to beaches in Monmouth and Ocean counties from Newark, Hoboken and Jersey City at a fixed fare of $80. Up to four people can share, the company also said. The special $80 fare can be unlocked using promo code BEACHPASSNJ. The deal is available every weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday night, until Labor Day. Quantities are limited.
